Free Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway
Safebound Moving & Storage is partnering with the West Palm Beach Police Athletic League and the West Palm Beach Police Department to host a free Thanksgiving turkey giveaway. On November 21, the Sunday before Thanksgiving, we’ll distribute 500 turkeys from our state-of-the-art warehouse located at 1727 Old Okeechobee Rd. in West Palm Beach.
At Safebound, we have a commitment to community. The last few years have been hard for everyone, and we want to do whatever we can to ease the burden on families in need this holiday season. We’re a family company, and our business is moving families in and around West Palm Beach. Over November and December especially, we want to do our part in giving back to the community that’s treated us so well over the years. We’re kicking off the holidays with this massive free Thanksgiving turkey giveaway.
In December, we’ll partner with the West Palm Beach Athletic League and WPBPD again to host a Christmas gift drive for at-risk teens in the Palm Beach area. In the spirit of commitment to community, we partner with the Cotton Bottom Diaper Bank year-round to gather and distribute diapers, wipes, and potty-training kits to families in need. We’ve also hosted school drives and community skate jams. At Safebound, we have a commitment to community no matter the season.
Commitment to Community
COVID has greatly impacted our West Palm Beach community over the last year and a half. Thousands of people have become seriously ill, and plenty have lost their jobs as a direct result of the virus. When that problem is compounded with issues our community faces on a regular basis, the situation can appear very bleak for families that are already at a disadvantage. It’s our hope, with this free Thanksgiving turkey giveaway, that we can alleviate some of the hardships that fall on our neighbors during the holidays.
The holidays are meant to be a time of celebration and relaxation. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case for many families in West Palm Beach. Whether the family has suffered a tragic loss or fallen on hard financial times this past year, we hope to ease some of the burdens this holiday season by supplying free Thanksgiving turkeys to families.
Our Commitment to Community keeps us connected to the people of Palm Beach County. We’re a local company and we always look for new opportunities to give back to the community that’s treated us so well. Our partnerships with the West Palm Beach Police Department and other local nonprofits and businesses are integral to our existence as a local company.
Since 2016, Safebound Moving & Storage has been moving individuals, families, and companies around South Florida and the country. We started as a small company and have grown exponentially since our beginnings. In early 2021, we moved into its new, state-of-the-art office and warehouse facility in West Palm Beach. We’re a fast-growing, local moving company with over 250 employees at its West Palm Beach location.
We wouldn’t be where we are today without the families in Palm Beach County that trust us to move them. This free turkey giveaway is only one way we hope to give back to the community that’s given us so much.
